The Politics & Philosophy departments at Uckfield Community Technology College have invited this year’s parliamentary constituency candidates (PCC) from the five main political parties to a mock general election debate at our college’s Sixth Form centre on Friday 1 May 2015 in order to face questions from our students.
The debate is scheduled to take place in the Hall at UCTC between 12:20pm until 1:40pm.
The Biology department would like to offer an amazing opportunity to visit the South American rain forests of Guyana in summer 2016. The trip will be open for current year 10,11 and 12. Please read on to find out more regarding this amazing experience!

HPV vaccination Year 8 Girls only- new date 1st stage now on the 2nd March, 2nd stage to take place in September, date to be confirmed.
Meningitis C vaccination ALL Year 10 postponed - now to take place on the 13th July at the same time as the Booster vaccination.
Barcelona Trip The sixth form Business and Economics department are going to Barcelona on July 6th. Places are still available. To secure a place enter a £50 deposit on parent pay, but soon!

Last November Ofqual announced that from September (2013) students in England will no longer be able to sit A-level exams in January.
