Students, parents and staff celebrated Uckfield Community College’s best ever GCSE results: 72% of students achieved the benchmark 5A*-C including English and Maths and overall 81% of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades.
Early morning rain failed to dampen the spirits of students from Uckfield Community Technology College who achieved the best ever set of A level results with 52% A*-B grades and a massive 81% of all entries graded at C or above. 25% / a quarter of the grades achieved were A* or A.
Held under the patronage of the Royal Society of British Artists as part of their commitment to supporting young artists, The National Student Art Exhibition features work by gifted and talented students from Schools, Colleges and Academies across the country. The artists range in age from 11 to 18 years old. This is a unique opportunity to see artists at a very early stage in their careers.
Schools are invited to submit pieces annually, and the prestigious selection committee selects pieces to be exhibited in The Mall Galleries, and others to be ‘Highly Commended. This is the 1st year that Uckfield Community Technology College has submitted work.
MUNGA is the Model United Nations General Assembly, on July 10th 2015 Sixth Form students at UCTC took part in a debate about 5 topics: education, status and rights of women, environmental sustainability, climate change and extreme poverty and hunger.

Results will be issued in the SFSA. The results of students unable to attend will be sent by the final post on the dates shown above. Please note that we are unable to issue results to any person other than the student themselves unless we receive signed authorisation, in advance, from the student concerned. (Results will not be issued by telephone under any circumstances.)
Ski Trip 2016
The Ski Trip has booked up in record time this year. There is a possibility that a few additional places can be added, so if you were not able to get your deposit sent in time please let us know (contact reception or email Mr Harvey); we will add you to the waiting list and get in touch if spaces become available.

Ski trip 2016
We are now taking deposits for the Easter 2016 Ski Trip. Letters can be collected from reception, Mr Harvey or Mr George. Deposits can be made on ParentPay. It's a tight turnaround this year, so we need names by the end of term. Please can people contact Mr Harvey or Mr George if they have any queries or issues.
Letters are going out to all Year 8 students this week. The trip coincides with a number of centenary events (the Battle of the Somme in particular), offering students a unique chance to take part in the global commemoration of the Great War. The trip will run for two days and one night (Friday 12th to Saturday 13th February 2016), arriving back late on the second evening. This is a very popular trip, so please act fast if you wish to take part! Deposits can be paid directly on ParentPay, first come first served. Please see Mr Harvey / Miss Farrington for more details.

HPV vaccination Year 8 Girls only- new date 1st stage now on the 2nd March, 2nd stage to take place in September, date to be confirmed.
Meningitis C vaccination ALL Year 10 postponed - now to take place on the 13th July at the same time as the Booster vaccination.
